Econometric Links
This site is connected with the Econometrics Journal, which is run by the Royal Economic Society and is based at Free University, Amsterdam. This is an extensive annotated site, updated monthly. It is divided into sections, among which are: general collections and preprint sites, departments and societies, software links, books, conferences, journals and mailing lists. The alphabetic list of econometrics journals is very extensive, and provides information about what is contained on the journal site (abstracts/full-text).
Econometrics Resources on the Internet
A site designed to accompany an econometrics textbook. It contains annotated links to econometrics resources for both students and researchers, including links to data sources, economic associations, economic journals, datasets, government sites, newsgroups and software.
Inomics
Inomics is a web service designed for economists. It provides details of job openings and conference announcements. The jobs index is global and can be searched by geographic region, including Europe, as well as by type of position, kind of institution, and JEL classification. The conferences list has similar filtering options. A directory of links to Economics websites is also included, that is based on the Dmoz directory. The site is produced by Berlecon Research, Germany.
International Economics Network
The International Economics Network is a portal of online resources in international economics and related fields. Resources are categorised under International Economics, International Politics, International ICT & Biotech, News & Commentary, Global Business & Finance, International Law, International Development, and Research Papers. Most of the research papers are in PDF format and Adobe Acrobat Reader is needed for accessing them. The site is maintained by Jamus Jerome Lim, a research associate at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore.
Resources for Economists on the Internet
The Resources For Economists site is edited by Bill Goffe, of the Department of Economics, SUNY Oswego. It is sponsored by the American Economic Association and lists more than 2,000 resources in nearly 100 sections. The list is updated on a monthly basis. Items are broadly organised by type, such as data, mailing lists, internet guides, scholarly communication, teaching resources etc.The site is searchable and browsable by section - best accessed via the abridged table of contents. All resources have a line or two of description, with a link to the site or a slightly longer description.
