Section 2: Table / List Display Options

These options allow you to set the display width of channel, whether a visible border is displayed around it, and whether you want news item titles to be displayed as list items.

  • If you have selected above for the channel image to be displayed, then you will not be able to set the display width of the channel in pixels to be any less than the width of the image, that is 102 pixels.
  • If the items that you wish to display contain exceptionally long words or URLs you may find that setting low limits on the table width fails to take effect.

Section 3: Font Options

These options allow you to set some font display options (serif or sanserif, size, bold or not) for the available channel items. Please note that:

  • If you have not elected to display any of the items below in section 1 then (obviously) setting the font options will have no effect.

Section 4: Colour Display Options

These options allow you to set the colours that your channel will display in. You can either enter an html color code directly (in the hex format #00FF00) or click on a colour in the image map to choose from the web safe 216 palette. Please note that:

  • If you have not elected to display some of the items listed below in section 1 then altering their colours will (obviously) have no effect.
  • The term 'Other' refers jointly to the textinput box, channel publication date and copyright statement, which you may have elected not to display in section 1 (the default is not to).
  • Channel names and news item titles are links. Changing their colours overrides settings on your own site ONLY if you are using CSS for your link settings.
