Andy Ross

Andy has authored textbooks and lectured in further and higher education for over 20 years. He has been a government economic adviser since 2000 working for ONS, OFT and HM Treasury. He is currently Deputy Director and Head of Learning and Development for the Government Economic Service.

Andy's theme was "Educating Economists for Government" and a chunk of the talk is online in video form.

Prof. David F. Hendry, Oxford University

David Hendry

David Hendry is Chairman of the Economics Department at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of the British Academy.

His talk was entitled "Teaching Undergraduate Econometrics". Slides and video are available.

Tim Harford

Tim Harford

As well as presenting the BBC's "Trust Me, I'm an Economist", Tim Harford is a columnist for the Financial Times and Slate, and member of the FT editorial board. Tim's book, The Undercover Economist, is available in 21 languages worldwide.

His presentation was on "How can economists grab the attention of students, and keep it?" and six short videos from the talk have been put online.
